Allegory - A Fine Arts Gallery

Art First! Center for the Arts
An organization created by professionally trained artists who believe that The Arts and education in The Arts should be firmly founded on traditional, representational drawing, painting, and design skills and techniques. Their goal is to provide professional artists with an association based upon these skills and traditions. They offer the only art school in Ventura County that provides a full range of semi-private art instruction by professional artists for all ages and grade levels. Students can expand their skill and their minds through the arts of Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Photography, and Art History. They offer grouping by age and experience with small class sizes (5 to 10 maximum), personalized instruction, and comprehensive curriculum including classes for children, adults, and professionals.
California Art Club, established 1909
The California Art Club (CAC) was established in 1909 by the early California Impressionists or Plein Air Painters. A major tenet of the California Art Club is to look to our heritage for inspiration and guidance brought through the knowledge of artistic techniques nearly forgotten. Guild of Natural Science Illustrators
Founded at the Smithsonian in 1968, the Guild is a non-profit organization for the encouragement, support and networking for Natural Science Illustrators while setting high professional standards for illustration in the Natural Sciences.
